(1).旧俗，女子出嫁后，首次回娘家探亲叫回门。与婿偕行者谓双回门。 元 无名氏 《隔江斗智》第二折：“等我对月回门之日，我见母亲，自有话讲。”《红楼梦》第一○八回：“一日， 史湘云 出嫁回门，来 贾母 这边请安。”
(2).泛指回家。 明 高明 《琵琶记·乞丐寻夫》：“久留不知因箇甚，年荒亲死不回门。”
