(1).四方和四隅。《逸周书·武寤》：“王赫奋烈，八方咸发。”《汉书·司马相如传下》：“是以六合之内，八方之外，浸潯衍溢。” 颜师古 注：“四方四维谓之八方也。”《云笈七籤》卷一：“登丘陵而盼八方，览参辰而见日月。” 清 唐孙华 《有客》诗：“喧闐声利塲，八方聚才英。”
